Cody – 9 month old lab mix with Treeing Walker Coonhound – Very intelligent and athletic – very little time at kill shelter to find home
Cody is a very intelligent and athletic 9 month old mix of lab and Treeing Walker Coonhound whose owner could not keep him because he could clear his fence. He honestly did not intend to be bad and always returned when called but is curious and has a healthy pair of legs on him.
Cody is only 9 months old and very sweet and affectionate, fine with children and fine with other dogs. Cody is housetrained, knows commands, and deserves to find a loving home.
Tragically, the shelter is a kill facility in rural West Virginia where he will have very little time at the shelter (Augusta, WV). The shelter has less than a 5% local adoption rate. Transport help is available in our region, and a donor would be open to sponsoring transport beyond our region.
